I mean I get that getting held liable for something in a court of law is strictly speaking a negative experience. But people take it so far, like they want no agency whatsoever. People are in love with philosophies that espouse 'salvation,' predestination, oppression binaries, etc. What all these philosophies have in common is that they say you can 'do X' while in some magical realm you 'did not do X.' Pretty ridiculous people would go so far is to just believe outlandish claims because their desire to avoid guilt or responsibility is that strong.

You keep up this stuff long enough, you just become ugly. It's hard to describe but you'll see it eventually.
