Date: March 24th, 2018 5:01 PM Author: Beady-eyed Frozen Cumskin the cynical explanation is that if there is a "deep state," they assign their people to each candidate just in case one of them happens to win. if sessions was the assigned agent for trump, he'd be with trump from almost the beginning, in order to create an impression of loyalty. i don't know if that's how it actually worked, but given his conduct in office, i wouldn't rule it out. i just wonder which deep-staters were assigned to candidates like george pataki who had, at best, an 0.00001% chance. Date: March 24th, 2018 5:13 PM Author: Bat shit crazy concupiscible area weed whacker it seems insane, but i'm starting to wonder if this kind of thing doesn't go on. or maybe it's less formal than 'assigning' people, but there is instead a kind of informal understanding among these guys that whichever candidate/cause they back, it's about controlling him, and bringing him under the aegis of the 'deep state.' that's always how it works in spy novels. where 'Control' always has at least one agent 'cultivating' even the most outre potential 'asset', JUST IN CASE he becomes valuable by some outside chance. |
