Don't give away a percentage of your business for "of counsel" and free office space. Unless you think your worth is $150/month and a website. The only value anyone can give you is cases/referrals. Don't give up equity for anything else. |

Date: November 2nd, 2017 1:21 AM Author: Cerise bbw I mean, I need way more facts than that. Could be policy limits if causation isn't an issue and if the person has serious quality of life issues. Or it could be 30k if there are causation/liability issues and the person has a sedentary life/job. I have a torn rotator cuff right now with farmers where the offer on the table is 45K after I filed (but pre-surgery). Client just had surgery on October 20 and I'm sending a new demand for limits of 250K. Case will probably settle for around 150K is my guess.
How much did that case settle for in mediation? |

Liability is a problem--which would be DONUT zero recovery risk in contrib jurisdictions, and needs surgery but hasn't had it yet is a lot different than had surgery because of.
If I got $50K out of that I would feel pretty good. |
