PDDJ Cried Last Night re Rabbi Ruling On Being In Photos For Sister Sat. Wedding

i asked my ultraortho rabbi for how to handle the situation. he said "you're lucky, it's only an issue for you." i wasn't sure what he meant. then he clarified, and said "well, david, she's not obligated to keep shabbat, only you are." then a light bulb went off, and i realized he was saying gently that it doesn't fucking matter what pddj does bc she's not "jewish" herself according to him.
i told this all to pddj. she was devastated and crying all night. |
