Xanax is glorified now by rappers like alcohol and crack used to be, and now as opposed to mainly selling it as a path out of poverty, they're singing about using drugs to escape reality and pain. Last time I saw them was last summer at Bonnarroo. Crowd was all Gen Z types, but the group was going insane. Got tired of hearing those "party time" fog horn sound effects every 3 minutes though, and the strobe lights were tiring after a while. |
