Now all these women are waiting until their late 20s and 30s to even start having children, which is putting massive selection pressure on women, selecting for an elongated fertility window. I wonder what kind of downstream effects there will be. |

We also forget the average age a women got their first period used to be much later than it is today, at around 15-17. Western European women inside the hajnal line didn't marry until early 20s.
Women today also interestingly have about twice as many periods over their lifetime compared to women 100 years ago. |
