Not at all, though I only practiced law for a year. Turned down T1 STEM Phd program (had M.S. already) to do HYS. No regrets. Would have been a lousy academic. LS was a chill and pleasant experience, and I learned useful skills (big surprise!). Fortunately, I discovered my vast hatred of Biglaw during a 2L summer job, and was able to start planning ahead 3L and only endured one year of economically necessary slavery. Thought about solo, but no capital and no contacts. Found my thing eventually in tech business. YMMV.
