Mediation Monday for 7 Figure Case (CSLG)

Date: November 22nd, 2017 1:48 PM Author: harsh orchestra pit Going to mediation Monday for a case with a cervical fusion surgery, fractured hand, carpel tunnel surgery, and several epidurals. Client is recommended for a subsequent fusion and had to live in his car for three months because he couldn't work. Past meds are about 350K and future meds are about 250K. Although we would get a lifecare plan if it goes to trial. I am co-counseling it with Michael Alder (you can google his name). Split is 50/50.
Our opening demand is policy limits of 5 million. This is one of my biggest cases.
I would be happy to let someone tag along if they are interested (only one though). It is in downtown LA. |

I've only done one PI case in biglaw (med mal pro bono) and even though we knew it would settle for $29,999 we still started off much higher. I guess for obvious reasons they were scared of going above 30k, though. |
