Cons:

- That home has been 230k for the last couple of year whereas I have seen homes of friends in some other markets (sv/ny) appreciate like crazy.

- Not much culture-wise in the burbs though. Mostly just chill with neighbors and do bbqs, craw fish boils, watch football, etc.

- People are proles. Lots of shitheads in pickup trucks. Makes driving difficult sometimes.

- long commutes. if you can get a job where you can work from home then it's ideal otherwise easily 1 hour commutes each way.

- houston has shit weather
