In 2013 i responded to a craigslist ad looking for a bass player. I went to a rehearsal, and though I was skeptical I stuck it out for a while.
There were issues with this version of the band. One member had a really off putting personality coupled with strong and equally off putting musical opinions. The drummer though a nice guy was just really fucking bad.
Eventually I left. They replaced me with a much better bass player but ultimately disbanded.
I stayed in touch with the guitarist who has become a good friend. He asked if I would be interested in starting a new band. So I asked my drummer friend (who is far and away the best musician in the band) if he was interested, which he was, then we brought back our old singer and reformed in the winter of 2015.
We then added a 2nd guitarist who is the drummer's friend. |
