Definitely some truth to that
My understanding is that the biggest issue is that there has never been a need for polling in Alabama because... it's Alabama. Why spend the money to determine if the R will win by 30 or 25.
All the polls are frauds hastily put together to take advantage of an odd case. I wouldn't trust any of them
