Mountain West is clearly the best place to live in the US

Really some of the best natural scenery and outdoor recreation in the world. Plus all the states are 80+ percent white, have relatively low COL and growing economies, and you don't have to deal with the heat/humidity. You could have made the case maybe 15-20 years ago that living there would be too culturally isolating and remote, but with the internet and easy and cheap air travel those days are over.
