I will be cutting after December 18th.
I will count calories assiduously, restricting to about 1,700 net of exercise. Much of this will be protein, eggs, and dairy. I am already a vegetarian who doesn't drink any calories outside of protein, so I don't place any additional qualitative restrictions on my diet, beyond what the calorie limit prohibits
I will use the exercise bike for 30 mins to an hour daily in addition to maintaining my current 6x weekly resistance training program
I will cut about 15 lbs to 150, ideally in 2 to 2.5 months before I begin bulking again

Combination of Lyle McDonald + Martin berkhan leangains is all you need
Some things that have helped me
- not having breakfast helps
- get .8 - 1g protein per lbs everyday. Not just for muscle gains. Protein is the most filling macro and it also is closer to 3.5 calories per g than the listed 4 cal
- need a minimum amount of fat to keep hormones in check. Some people like higher carb, some like fat. After you meet protein and fat requirements doesn't really matter.
- high fiber food is the most filling by far and there's some studies that it might decrease nutrient aborsorption (less cals)
- lifting makes you feel so much better. No need for crazy workouts. Just consistency
- cottage cheese + casein + water...makes a pudding...super filling and mostly protein, with a bit of fat
Cals in cals out is only thing that really matters for fat loss. But you can drastically control your mood / hunger in a caloric deficit by doing the right things.
Everyone should take fish oil and vitamin d3 supps, especially during the winter.
