Early Social Security, disability checks, scooters (wheelchairs in the airport, must fly business class - can't fit in economy seats), Marlboro reds, eat chicken fingers, fries and cheeseburgers with soda, several times daily. Major health issues - look 20+ years older than they actually are. Her dad is a retired computer d00d for U.S. Army and mom actually worked as a secretary for an insurance company for 30 years before she got injured and addicted to painkillers. Real shit. Feel bad for my brother-in-law but mostly because his wife was super hot before they got married and she literally gained 30 pounds. Truly sad story all around because of how preventable it is. They just gave up on life completely - I can't imagine what their house looks like. And oh yeah, her dad is in town for surgery.
