he's an old boomer who came of political age during the "moral majority" stuff in the late-70's and the 80's. i have my doubts that they (even trump) are capable of "getting" populism/demographics/american decline like we do. moore was an evangelical fanatic who has probably thought very little about economics or populism over the years.

what was useless Bannon actually doing the whole time he was 'backing' Moore?

in what fucking capacity was he even involved in the campaign? why did he even bother to attach himself?

if Bannon is going to sponsor these 'insurgent' candidates, he needs to have an 'American Nationalism 101' campaign playbook that he hands to his candidates on Day 1, that bullet-points the successful Trump campaign: Rule 1: Talk about IMMIGRATION, IMMIGRATION, IMMIGRATION, GLOBALISM, CULTURAL PRESERVATION, etc, all day long, in explicitly nationalist terms.

otherwise, what is the point of his involvement? if he is not going to put his stamp on the candidates, he adds NOTHING.

they need message discipline and organization.
