Cardano man is correct in the sense that the "easy money" of a lot of mooning and mega returns is pretty much over. That took place during Q3 and Q4 of 2017, mainly.
To see profits in 2018 with crypto, you're going to have to be a savvier investor, follow it more closely, learn more and trade more wisely. There are opportunities for those willing to learn and to look.
Money is going to continue to come in, now that we had a big correction and those who don't have the stomach for this got out. Public awareness will increase exponentially. Your grandpa will know what a Bitcoin is, or will at least have heard of it.
So, what are the good investments? ETH and BTC are still the core ecosystems. I especially like ETH, personally, and I think you could see it hit $1,500 by EOY 2018. They're not without faults. There are also other interesting similar products coming out and gaining attention. 90 percent of these "currencies" are garbage, but some are very promising. Learn about them and see what you like, and see what could offer promising returns. Ether tokens I think are a good bet (that are built to work on the Ether system) as are what I call "stablecoins" or coins that will hold value steadily, and also coins that will let you bridge between different systems. Some I just think are very interesting, like Augur which is working on creating a block chain based prediction market and Golem which would be like airbnb for computing space.
2018 you can reap rewards but whatever your basis is, learn and invest wisely. Take your gains and re-invest them. Try to get your basis back at least and invest the gains little by little. Slow and steady I think mainly. Wealth is going to be gained by long term holders, not FOMO amateur traders anymore. You need to let the market work for you and don't get overcome with emotion. It's an ongoing process. |
