You can easily do this 3-4 times a week even when you're old and injury prone, and if you're also lifting every muscle group once per week and not eating McDonald's every day it will work unless you have bottom 10% genetics.

Sleep 7+ hours a night, lift heavy, run up hills, and eat with protein as a priority and good carbs and fats (oats, brown rice, potatoes) to round it out. Added sugar is the devil.

I'd also recommend starting your day off with the following drink:

8oz water

1 tbs lemon juice (1/2 a lemon if you want to do fresh)

1 tbs cider vinegar of your choice (I do pomegranate, apple also is good)

1 tbs black strap molasses

That's ALL you need for breakfast, but if you want to round it out with an egg, go for it.
