All warts are caused by HPV.
There are thousands of strains.
People basically constantly pick up new strains throughout their lives infecting various areas of their skin. These usually show no symptoms. Are usually cleared in a matter of months to a few years.
There's a much smaller number of strains that tend to hit genitals. People vary widely in how they respond to these. Most have no symptoms. Some develop crazy wart outbreaks.
The unlucky chicks can get hit hard in the wrong spot in their koochies and it can fuck with fertility. Rare, but happens. |
