Week 2: Feel pretty shitty but not completely hopeless
Week 3: Don't feel super great, but still getting better
Week 4: Things are starting to become normal again.
DO NOT RELAPSE FOR ANY REASON. It is not fucking worth it. You'll just have to go through the whole quitting process again. |

My energy level, ability to power through his non-responsive answers, and keep him focused on the documents in the case won me praise from my boss and the client. After the trial, I got a cone of ice cream and an email from the managing partner who was pissed as fuck that I hadn’t entered time since the week before (this was a Thursday, we were in trial all week working 20 hour days).

I abused addy/vyvanse for over a year, and it really took a toll by the end. I'd often use it to pull all-nighters where I'd go 24h+ without eating. I lost a lot of weight, but most of that was muscle. When I finally quit, I was low energy as fuck. Worse, my appetite returned and because my metabolism was shot and I wasn't lifting, most of the weight came back as fat. Took months to recover mentally, and over a year to recover physically. Never again. |
