Why haven't feminists attacked all porn as sexual assault?

It’s arguably exploitative in some instances ( ie - very poor or addict girls, or teens who are barely able to understand the repercussions), but so are many other things. It’s only assault where the women are subjected to sexual treatment to which they did not consent, or which resulted in bodily harm. I think porn mostly gets the sort of public treatment it deserves - some of it is fine, and a healthy sexual adjunct or outlet; some of it is morally questionable, but clearly not illegal and should not be treated as such; and only a minuscule proportion of it ( actual cases of rape/assault, use of minors, other illegal activity) should actually be banned.

Not really.
I mean, I’m a lib and a feminist, but I was also a stripper, so I have some understanding of what it must be like to agree to perform in porn.
You’re really young, you need the money, you don’t have a lot of parental guidance, but you think you know what you’re doing, anyway. In some senses you do - you’re technically an adult, after all. But the proper analogy here is the 18 year old who takes out 100k in student loans and thinks they know what they’re doing. They sign the promissory nite, etc., but it’s only years later that they realize they weren’t so mature or making such great decisions, after all. Still, they were technically adults and at some level knew what they were getting into.
