Fewer available carts means fewer sales, and it frequently falls to me to retrieve carts that are scattered across the parking lot. We've also had dozens of carts stolen over the years, even with various anti-theft devices installed. Homeless trash -- and even random blacks -- will just steal carts without a second thought. You should see me running around to find the special "key" to disable the alarm as customers panic. We paid thousands for these things, and they don't even work properly.
