S2 & S3 were bogged down by manufactured MTV Ron/Sam drama, it overwhelmed production. S4 Italy was just lulzy nonsense, they hated being there. S5 actually rebounded a bit imo bc it was clear some of them were getting tired of it and there was legitimate drama. S6 they clearly mailed it in and the fourth wall was completely broken.
S2 was way, way too heavily driven by Ron and Sammi, who were the two least interesting people on the show. |

here's one observation that i'm wondering if other fans made: in S6, my gf and i couldn't help but notice that Ron seemed to be going out of his way to up his persona on the show, sorta like he knew the show was ending and he was seeking to have a bigger profile in order to catch a break afterwards (like Sitch, Pauly and Vinny did).
did you notice that as well? |
