If you were a corporation, you're not offering the lowest price to customers, you're offering the price that can maximize your profits. If you could, you would offer a higher price to a customer you know is wealthier or value your product more, and offer a lower price to a customer you know is less wealthy, for the same product.
Examples of this is student discounts, etc.
Amazon is genius for literally doing this based on a good proxy for literal wealth/poverty, and making themselves look like saints for doing so.
