because NFL quarterback may be the single hardest job in the world and most NFL teams are desperate to find somebody who is even serviceable
plenty of mobile QBs are serviceable and teams with mobile QBs do well and make the playoffs all the time, including many this year.
sadly most mobile QBs end up going to teams with weak offensive lines and dying tragically like RGIII
