Thesis:
shrews are awful to work with due to their own insecurity and stupidity
evidence:
1. they are very insecure about the idea that men may actually be more capable of doing their job than them, and they therefore try to make up for it in a number of unproductive ways. They want to give the appearance of a forceful hard worker that is punctual and cutthroat. "Like a man!"
2. they're too stupid to realize that these qualities aren't what makes men successful in the office place. Rather, men are successful because they have an innate ability to focus on the important things. Men also realize that work is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself, and that as long as they can keep things chill in the office and focus on what matters, they win.

"Men also realize that work is a means to an end, not an end in and of itself"
this is unfortunately not nearly as true as it should be, especially in the profession of lawl, and definitely not as true as it was before GC values became synonymous w/ "american values"

Not always true. I work with plenty of women who do try to prove themselves by working extra hard and posting attention to details perhaps overlooking the big picture but they are absolutely necessary and play an important role in an organization. Not everyone can be the chill visionary idea guy who delegates out all his work (my role).
I rely heavily on hard workers trying to prove themselves and make sure to provide positive reinforcement with lots of praise and appreciation. I also make sure to dress sharp and look good (I'm 6'4") so people already look up to me and give me underserved credit and authority. My kudos is highly valued.
