Here is a perfect example of how it works. This guy sold an original script for $1.2 million ($2 million if it gets made). The script actually sounds like the basis for a 180 movie. We will, of course, never get to see this movie. What is this talented writer working on now? GI Joe 3, which will definitely be produced.
