serious question: I'm a lib but I relate more to conservatives, why?

libs are just bad people.
you know damn well a conservahero would give the shirt off his back to a mentally ill lib and that same lib would still put a wiccan curse on him for voting drumpf

A huge proportion of liberals, especially the most vocal ones, are ideological fanatics. Think of them like religious extremists. You don't like them because they're trying to control you to a ridiculous degree. It's perfectly healthy.
Conservatives have a lot of bad ideas but for the most part they aren't really about forcing things down peoples' throats (yet). Mainline conservatism has essentially been a reaction to liberalism, and it has mainly been saying "leave us alone." The psychology behind this is easy to empathize with even if you don't like the details of their policies. However, conservatives will start to get more overbearing like libs as the alt-right comes to dominate the right.
