Date: January 24th, 2018 6:24 PM Author: Bistre address multi-billionaire valetta is pretty underwhelming. checkit out but it's maybe half a day. mdina is a very nice preserved medieval town w/ views and shit. didnt go to those places you mentioned. did st pauls catacombs, which i'd recommend. tbe locals are eh looking, insular and conservative, but there's a lot of visiting cunnus to pwn. oh yeah also you really have to rent a car. pub transpo is all bus and SPS. you cant get taxis or ubers from any place not in the main pop center. with your own car the place is very navigable though (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=3869804&forum_id=2#35228887) |

It's small but traffic is sps there so be strategic. They don't have über, but something else. Can't remember but it's like 1/10 the price of taxis there.
Beaches are hard to access.
Marsaxlokk is cool, big market there Sundays, lots of tables on the water with drinking. We ate at la nostra Padrona outdoors. Really San tropez get the 40s or something. Recommend. |

It's bigger than it looks and is pretty nice but the limestone gets repitive throughout the island really fast |

- Nightlife: St. Julians (Paceville) - Walk around Valetta, St Elmo military museum, Malta experience, St. John's Cathedral - M'dina, especially St. Paul's and some of the smaller sights - Aviation Museum - Ferry to Gozo - UNESCO heritage ancient temples that predate Stonehenge.
Malta has a fascinating history. Def worth checking out for a few days + the harder to access beaches and the small chill towns fulano mentioned. With the moving around could easily spend 3-5 days seeing stuff. I'll have to go back, only got through like half the list :( |
