and i didnt just mean his longevity is what makes him the goat. it's also his consistency at getting to finals and SFs in his prime -- even when he wasnt winning. and being dominant on his worst surface -- he'd have matched borg's 6 coupes if lance hadn't doped. |

part of what i meant too was the lack of talent coming up, and the inability for any new talent to compete because of the resources of the guys at the top.
so fed was consistent over a long period of time, but was that a result of the circumstances.
if i'm being honest, i think that applies to Nadal as well. |
