I am struggling to pay off my loans, car insurance, house bills (total $380/month), and have enough left to invest in crypto/stocks (I invest at least $500 every 2 weeks). There is no way i am getting a 401k and letting some Jew in MFH handle MY money. It's remarkable there are families who earn 40k-90k and have kids in California. It's unbelievable.

A lot of people save nothing

A lot of people were living in places that were formerly cheap, and due to prop 13 / rent control, they still pay next to nothing for housing costs.

And a lot of people just live in shitty conditions - a whole family of 5 stuffed into an infested two bedroom apartment, people who commute 2+ hours each way, etc.

I am 26yo and live w my parents. But i am mexican and no one cares. Plus all my friends, white, mexican, asian, are living w parents also. It is no longer frowned upon here in socal. Everyone knows.

yeah, very common. I think about half the people I knew lived at home in in LA until they hit their late 20s.

That's not that bad for a kid your age. esp living with parents. Just keep at it.
