I'm afraid I'm about to fail the BAR EXAM for the 4th fucking time.

Got an infection in my arm and couldn't type well last July and failed by 29 points. Now here I am again studying this shit with one week remaining and I haven't practiced any state essays at all. But the February exam I had the flu for the first half of the month and learned some of the law wrong due to being sick. For example I swapped all the elements of the crimes with torts and vice versa and memorized it that way. Last July I was injured as I mentioned. This will be my first "real" attempt. I never took the bar exam (did a JD ~10yrs ago to take a break after I left a startup I founded, then went back into tech after law school) but I'm an IPO away from retirement money and have been thinking about getting my license so I can do CSLG type of stuff to keep myself busy if we stay in the US. With tons of states offering reciprocity with the UBE, that's kicked up my motivation a bit as well.
I've been thinking of just buying someone's Conviser and running with that, but I do much better just learning through high volumes of questions/drills. Was thinking Themis but access is limited to just a few months prior to an exam, whereas I'd maybe like 6-9 months so I can fit it into my schedule |

Date: February 19th, 2018 9:52 PM Author: Sapphire stag film codepig FYI: Florida follows a fairly predictable pattern for the state section topics. look over the model essays for the last 6 exams or so, figure out which topics are most likely to pop up, and memorize the model responses the best you can. There's also a pattern to which multiple choice topics will appear based on the essay topics, but i forget what it is off hand, just look it up. Do as much MBE as you can, but try to be smart about the state section since you can reliably anticipate what'll be tested
The bar is about rote memorization and little else. These dweebs talking about quality of analysis etc. are wrong. Just look at the model answers for any state, they are shit.
Stop making excuses and stop mystifying this shit. Good luck brother |

That's half the Florida part right there. |

Study the highly tested areas, but have at minimum a one sheet or index card worth of topic discussion for each subject. If you get fucked by shit you don’t know well, be prepared to think on your feet and b.s. too. |
