I lived in SF a number of years ago and I had no problem attracting plenty of good looking women (from a limited pool though obv) by being fit, outspoken, and not a complete goon. I mean sure, the sex ratio is out of whack, but 70% of your male competition is the absolute bottom of the barrel in terms of attracting women. Contrary to what many kids on this board think, it doesn't take a ton of money to get quality chicks, especially when money is not a competitive advantage in your environment. It just takes confidence, aggressiveness, and some semblance of being put together. Your average Bay Area male is an effeminate soyboy who is too meek to even talk to a girl in a bar, let alone progress beyond opening pleasantries if he summons all the courage in the world to get that far. Without a doubt, a typical (insert large marginal state school) frat guy would clean up in SF bars. |

I wrote about this a few months ago on this board when I visited a friend at a major tech company. You go in and it is wall to wall hot women - I'd say the women are at least 1-2 standard deviations hotter than the normal population of the area.
Eventually you realize that all these women were selected to be members of what amounts to a harem at these tech companies and they live completely cloistered lives. Uber from the nice apartment in the new development to the office which is like GATTACA - has a gym, tons of free shit, everything.
I doubt most of these women even work. |

All the cool people with character got forced out by high col and replaced by striver mercenaries for GC. Most normal people and people who've been here prior to the boom find these strivers add no value or character to the city.
