But I had a friend who this happened to, and he even had strong extracurriculars (which I guess don't matter that much).. And also I knew a girl who went HUG --> HLS who graduated with no honors and yet got in (ethnic minority). She was rich.
That's when I started to get a bit jaded about Harvard & thought you have to be a pretty special snowflake to keep copping that financial aid from them. |
