They were all great and it wasn't weird. It was actually a fucking blast. It helps that I just don't stay in touch with anyone.
If that is not an option, keep the wedding party SMALL. You'll get through it just fine. It's all about the bride anyways. |

If she's one of those women who needs 6-12 bridesmaids, then run. If you're not convinced that's the best option, then do you have brothers, cousins, a dad, uncles, or your future BILs who would do it? Any old friends? People are generally touched by the gesture and happy to be part of it, even if you're not in touch with them often. Tbf, some people are also annoyed by the thought of spending $3k and taking Friday off to be there. |
