Tbh I didn't care for Girl, 20 that much so Lucky Jim isn't an immediate priority. I'll probably get to it eventually though. My goal is to read 100 books this year. |

Date: March 1st, 2018 3:22 PM Author: galvanic juggernaut messiness The only other novel of his I have read was "One Fat Englishman" which was okay and had its zany moments but was not as good. I have had "The Green Man" on my shelf and have been meaning to read for years.
I have a compilation work "On Drinking" which has some great bits including the piece about metaphysical hangovers that has been reproduced on xo. The rest is crap or filler. I also have his English language usage guide "The King's English" which is a good lark but hard to just sit down and read. More like a reference work. |
