My boys are young, so I'm not really clued into the current drug culture outside of the opiod fearmongering. I'm not sure how legit that really is or if it's just the current cocaine/crack of the 80s, MDMA/Heroin of the 90s, Glass/Crystal of the 00s, etc. I had friends who raved, dropped E all the time, smoked tons of weed, did coke, and they made it through college, secured decent jobs/grad degrees, married and had normal adult family lives.
The average XOer is educated and UMC, so we will raise our kids correctly and surround them with the right type of people. And even if they dabble in this ghetto culture crap, they should be instilled with enough intelligence, parental support and self esteem to find their way to adulthood relatively unscathed.
At least I hope so.
By the way, what do you think about all of Beane's wheeling and dealing? Looks like we are on the cusp of finally landing our first "franchise" QB since Kelly. |
