That our obsession with physical perfection will send us careening off the path laid out by our psychological imperative towards transcendence?
Or is it possible that some unfathomable level of material success is actually a precondition to such a reunion, and that transhumanism is the cr for eventually fulfilling human destiny? |

Are you trading on destiny as a grand realization of history in the former case then suggesting a deflated predetermined sense in the latter?
