I've flown around the world in the last month and this is sop.
Probably a bunch of DBGs complained about not getting their muffins and so now the standard is to fucking wake you up.
I lost my mind last month on an emirates flight in biz where I was in bed mode, had mask and ear buds on, and still got woken up. (edit this was for dinner, not even breakfast)
The killer was they didn't even offer ear bugs and mask on that flight. I brought my own

In coach it's stupid as fuck bc it's just a fucking muffin and they can grab another.
My story above was a dinner service and they woke me bc it was a hot meal but I was maf because of all the indications that I wanted to sleep. Seriously going to write an angry letter to the editor
