ITT you divulge your Fortnite strategies

I started out playing Squads, but switched to Solo.
When I played squads, if I followed my squad off the bus they almost always go to a hotspot and we all get killed off before I can even find a weapon.
When I would parachute to some remote part of the island and work my way back to my squad they would turn out to be pretty good.
So I'm just playing Solo now until I can get good.
I am the last one off the bus and then I go somewhere remote and by the time I make it inside the circle from the storm 2/3 of people have been eliminated. |

100 people per game, dropped into a shrinking map, last man standing wins. First person shooter.
You all get dropped from an airplane and can parachute anywhere you want onto the island.
Then you have to find the weapons randomly scattered around and kill off everyone else. |

E.g., do you jump off the bus right away, wait until last, always go to a favorite spot?
Any particular way you handle the storm? Do you try to figure out where the map is going to shrink to and try to camp out there?
Do you hide until a bunch of people have been killed off? |

Doesn’t mean i hide in the same spot the entire time, unless i find a spot in the middle of the safe circle and i have a good amount of guns/potions/bandages.
- i try to jump to a spot towards the edge of the island, and always pick my spot during the pregame |

Date: April 9th, 2018 3:51 PM Author: Harsh charismatic brunch You have to fight more. It sucks because it’s takes forever to start a new game, but you’re not gonna get gold weapons without killing people. I’m a noob too, but I’ve gotten to the point where I expect to kill 1-2 people.
I even came in second once where I was genuinely battling a dude for the win and not just hiding. I got 5 kills and play on an iPhone (bazooka plus sniper rifle). He sniped me from my fort. Usually I go to a house moderately far away from the main drop off and then kill someone early. You can’t predict where the circle will go but you should stay on the perimeters and watch your back if it’s to the main drop. Build as soon as shot at.
Basically fight and fight and get killed a lot. Practice building in some games. |

1. Avoid the crowds. Look for a medium loot that won’t be too crowded. Best is if there is a premium loot spot that is far from the flight path you can land near a vehicle and drive to and loot in peace.
2. Avoid engaging with anyone. Don’t shoot people unless you are 70% sure you can kill them. Giving away your location is foolish.
3. Get to a house near the center of the ring early and stay out until you have to move OR stay on the very edge of the circle so you can’t be flanked.
4. Keep avoiding conflict and let the retards kill each other.
5. Get lucky at the end. |

I employed a new strategy. I've been trying to win games before mastering the shooting mechanics and shit.
So last night instead of diving to the edge of the map and waiting everyone out I've been diving right into the shit.
Killed four with a shotgun and one with SMG. |
