1. go to a new city and immediately accumulate hundreds of matches from desperate guys
2. have scheduled, on a whim, or when they're bored or lonely, like 3 dates in one day, barely having time to go from one date to the next but thankfully the guys are so eager to please and hence flexible on the meet times.
now, this might start from a place of amusement, of doing such silly and ridiculous (haha!) things for the shits and giggles. but i imagine, past the first week or so, especially when they get into the months/years, granting a female the god-like power of online dating is toxically corrosive to their souls. how could it not be? |

Online dating did to some degree, but not nearly on the same scale as swipe apps. The thing about online dating is that Chad, by and large, wasn't going to jump through the hoops of writing out a profile, searching through female profiles to find chicks to message, exchange several messages over the course of a few days to get a number, and go on a date where the general presumption was that the chick probably would not fuck until the second date. Sure, there were supply and demand issues, and chicks were bombarded with messages, but most of the messages came from undesirable guys. Just sorting through them was work that encourages the 5.5 to have at least some investment in the 6.5 who wanted to take her to dinner.
Swipe apps have lowered the barriers to entry for all involved. The lack of effort required means it is rational for Chad to use them. Within minutes of firing them up, Chad can have multiple phone numbers with a reasonable likelihood of leading to same-night no strings attached sexual intercourse. The women no longer have to wade through a horde of Melvin messages to find the 6.5 guy who checks most of their boxes. Instead, an average looking woman can order up cock from her choice of 7.0-8.5 guys on a moment's notice. The only thing the 6.5 might be able to offer to compete with that is the lure of a relationship. However, the woman simply deludes herself into believing that Chad might eventually fall into a relationship with her because fucking him was what she wanted to to anyways, and if not she'd prefer to just take dick from the next Chad rather than having stayed with Mr. 6.5 the whole time.
Of course, swipe apps have been successful precisely because they play to the worst instincts of insect-brained females.
