I agree the dynamics might be a little off, but unfortunately a lot of women dont see weight gain as disrespectful to their SO. One of the shit aspects of the body positivity movement is that it leads a lot of people to think its ok to be any weight and that criticizing peoples weight is hurtful etc. I think long term ragnus needs to decide if hes ok w having a long term partner that struggles w food issues. But if hes going to form babby w her, he can try to approach it from this angle |

She isnt going to get skinny just to get skinny. Thats NOT going to happen w a chick that eats whole bags of chips at once. And Ragnus needs to approach this problem by thinking like a woman. What will she value more than food? Locking him down/forming babby. If he makes it very clear to her that a healthy pregnancy and body is a requirement of his in order to impregnate her, she may be willing to change her habits somewhat. Women will often do things for their children that they wont necessarily do for themselves. Putting it in those terms also makes it less looks-focused/'superficial' on his part. |
