I'm so vexed right now it's not even funny. I realized my aunt is a huge douche.

My cousin (who we will call K) and I are super close. She lives in Jamaica and I live in Canada, but we have a good long distance relationship. She's one of the few family members who don't disrespect me and my siblings cause we're mixed and she's just so supportive.

She had been dating a guy since she was 17 ( she's now 21) but no one met him because he's always busy. All we knew was that he was wealthy and showered her with gifts. My aunt ( her mom) was hoping he was a white man so she could have cute grandbabies or whatever. She announced they were engaged and soon they will meet him.

So today, she invited all her close family members that live in Jamaica to meet him at her and her mothers house. So she showed up with him and in her words " 95% of them had mortified expressions". They were kinda cold to him but polite and they all ate lunch together. He even played some ball with my cousins and helped clean dishes.

When he left all hell broke loose. 3 out 7 uncles were screaming at her for dating a " chini mon" and for giving herself away to apparently " Jamaicas most problematic people like * insert my dads name* ".

Our two aunts ( by blood not in law, the in laws are the chillest Jamaicans you'll meet) got on her case questioning her " why couldn't you marry one of them white boys? Are blacks not good enough? Do you just want the " chini seed" ( which means uh genitals). They said that her children will have fucked up eyes like me and my siblings, they said that they will hate the Jamaican side and all that.

Her mother was the worse though, she screamed at her first saying that she hated her, that she was a failure of a daughter ( the girl got into med school), an embarrassment like my dad, and then told her that she either calls off the engagement or she gets kicked out.

She called my dad 30 minutes ago crying. She told him that she's never been so embarrassed or disrespected. She told him all the stuff they said about him ,my siblings, myself, and my mother. He was already mad but got even more mad because of the whole " I'll kick you out" thing because we can't do anything about and she doesn't come to Canada for med school until August. My dads currently cussing out whichever of my family members right now.

But let me just say this, 90% of Jamaicans love Asian people because they helped in the revolution. Most Jamaicans do not care about interracial and don't hate it like my family does. Please do not let this leave a bad mark of black people or Jamaican people on you.

My parents had a really messy divorce, dealt with some abuse from my Thai mother and ran away from home to live with my English dad who I began to worship as my saviour.

As I get older, the more I learned about his disgusting behaviour. He would leave jizz around the house, on the walls on multiple occasions. He would leave beastiality porn and ‘child porn’ (I don’t know for certain) open on his computer- exposing my young preteen self and my little brother to that filth.

I then discovered (when I started to contact my mother again 6 years later) that my dad started paying for sex from 16 year old boys. She sent the proof to my English grandmother and she took my dad’s side.

I am so fucking upset that when I’m on my own- people assume I’m a whore’s daughter because of where my mother comes from. Then, they think I’m the whore when I’m with my dad!

The real point that I was getting to was that my dad likes young women. He’s 57 and we’ve talked about how he ‘sees older women as his mother’ and just doesn’t find them attractive. Ok fair enough. I found out through friends that he’s been bragging to people in his local pub that he’s been sleeping with underage girls in Thailand. Underage in Thailand is under 15. I was so disgusted and ashamed.

I find out now that he’s been dating a girl and it’s getting pretty serious. He FaceTimed with me showing her off, took her to my childhood home and I assumed she was 25 or something.

Why did I assume?

Because a few months earlier, I begged my dad to not date women the same age-around the same age as me (19). He acknowledged and said that he understood why I’d feel uncomfortable and wouldn’t do it again.

What did I find out yesterday?

She’s 18 years old- she’s fucking younger than me and I’m still in my fucking teens.

I was horrified honestly. That he would break his promise like that and parade her and fuck her in my childhood home.

I made a mistake by asking reddit for advice and they called me an entitled child.

I accept that he’s an adult and she’s a consenting adult too. But this has bought shame to my heritage and my family. I feel like I cannot trust or get close to either of my parents anymore.

I called my aunt about it and she basically compared it to how my father didn’t accept my previous relationship. This upsets me because I was trapped in an physical/mental abusive relationship.

I’m sorry for the long post. I have nowhere else to go anymore. I’m so ashamed, alone and disgusted I want to fucking kill myself.
