Breaking up with my girlfriend brought some of my passion back and let me enjoy working out again, but Ippo's example has restored my FIGHTING SPIRIT to a level I never imagined I would reach again. It has literally taken at least 5 years off my age.
It's 2am here right now and I have 195lbs on the squat rack even with my busted knees. My anxiety about reinjury is just . . .gone. The thoughts that I can never box again because my lack of balance makes it too dangerous . . . Gone.
A bro from my work used to dabble in boxing a long time ago and just started going to a gym again. There is an old world champ in the twilight of his career training there. I'm going to go to fucking WAR with my bro and draw out his FULL POTENTIAL. |
