'Trumpism' won, and half of the people who voted against him hated the DEM candidate and would have preferred Bernie Sanders. he had the People on his side -- and both party leaderships were TERRIFIED of this. Trump had all the cards. Trump should have found a way to consolidate all of the anti-establishment RAGE in the electorate, that had propelled him into office, that had propelled Sanders almost to the nomination. if he had any real skill as a 'leader,' this would have been possible. with a 'mandate' like this, the 'votes' would have come. |
