Then some chinese chick (Zhang Shan) ran train on shotgun/skeet shooting events in the mid-90's, and so most competitions became single-sex so the shotgun doods wouldn't get smoked by a 4' tall chinawoman.
Horse jumping: most events are not gender-specific, and women routinely win. Example: women won a majority of the medals in the 2016 Olympics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equestrian_at_the_2016_Summer_Olympics
