So then they say their attorney has a few suggestions and they give me an example and then ask me to send it to them in Word so they can make changes to it.
I said I "prefer not to do it that way."
I said I would be happy to make whatever changes they request.
I then edited the NDA with the one change they recommended and sent them the second draft in PDF. I was all, "Here you go, let me know if you want me to change anything else."
I'm not their fucking bitch. They don't get to go fucking around in my Word document. Fuck them. |

1. Sec. 2(b) -- Delete third sentence and change "disclosing party" to "party" and and "(12)" in between "twelve monthsl".
I've only had the other side make a change without it being in track changes. We always do a comparison before signatures.
If you sent me a PDF I'd ask my secretary to convert to Word or I'd put my edits in by hand. |
