It's funny if you go back and read the WSJ article.
It has a part where a "senior official" calls McCabe to ask what he is doing on the Clinton Foundation investigation, and the article then quotes McCabe as saying "Are you asking me to stand down?" and the official as saying "Er,no, I guess not."
All of this according to PEOPLE familiar with the conversation.
Jeez, I wonder who was familiar with direct quotes from a private telephone conversation between two people?????
