Are people actually using them? Who? What for? There are only so many companies out there having corporate meetings. |

It was the annual meetup of a region-wide affinity group. Something like "Southern Napoleonic War Aficionados" or "Mid-Atlantic Otto von Bismarck Fan Club"
The holiday inn was chosen because it was (a) cheap as fuck, and (b) centrally located within the region the group represents. Everyone in the region could easily drive there.
I did leave and see the 1-2 tourist attractions in that small town. I also found a shockingly good restaurant nearby. |
