school was 10% white. lunch room was 100% segregated. whites had a small section at about the midpoint of one of the walls in the cafeteria. sit anywhere else at lunch and you risk getting knock-out-gamed. was scared to go to the bathroom alone. teachers literally let white kids use a buddy system to go to the bathroom (not joking)
i definitely have a chip on my shoulder and have a lot of rage against people who grew up in rich neighborhoods with rich parents (and it seems like a shitload of lawyers fit this description) |

i definitely identify with proles and get pissed when UMC people do classist shit, like judging the type of clothes proles wear, etc. i have a few friends on Facebook now from that area, but the vast majority of my friends are from college (top 50 school) |

Never SAW anyone get shot but heard gunshots. Lots of "fight club" type situations with kids fighting. Saw a kid get stabbed in the head at school (not sure if this counts)--kid lived a few trailers away from me |
