If humidity changes, then so does the tensile strength of the connectors to resilient wires.

Strength is kind of irrelevant, but you're right that humidity and temperature are very important. The frame can absorb moisture and expand in summer, or dry out and contract in winter. Also you have CLTE to worry about.

tensile strength is constant force of the wire pulling on the wood in the environmental conditions. Wire won't give as easily as the wood.

You can warp all of it if you don't adjust the wire strength.

Wood absorbs moisture and is affected by both temperature and humidity. Temperature is the only thing to worry about with wire.

If you wanted bonus nachos, you could even talk about thermal expansion differentials since obviously one will have a different coefficient than the other.

Humidity is a big concern, but if temperature and humidity is controlled, probably not needed as often.

My mom played piano in the local symphony and taught piano lessons at home. We had a Steinway. I don't think we even tuned it every 6 years. My uncle tuned it but he was an engineer who had actually restored old pianos so he knew what he was doing. All I know about pianos is they can be fixed and it's never bad to have one.
