Do you really have to tune a piano every 6 months?

You can warp all of it if you don't adjust the wire strength. |

Humidity is a big concern, but if temperature and humidity is controlled, probably not needed as often. |

I don't think we even tuned it every 6 years. My uncle tuned it but he was an engineer who had actually restored old pianos so he knew what he was doing.
